Anno 2205
Descrizione
Anno 2205 is the sixth main entry in Ubisoft Blue Byte's acclaimed city-building series, and the one that finally leaves the planet. A breakthrough in fusion energy has put humanity on the brink of a new era, but the helium-3 that powers it can only be harvested in useful quantities on the Moon. You lead a corporation that builds its future on Earth and then carries it into space.
From Earth's Coasts to the Lunar Surface
You start as a young corporation with a single foothold and big ambitions. The early hours are classic Anno: laying out housing, securing food and goods, and watching your residents move up the social ladder as their needs are met. Before long, a growing population pushes you north into the Arctic and finally up to the Moon, where the resource that will change everything is waiting. Once the story is behind you, the sandbox keeps going for as long as you want to keep building.
One Corporation, Three Very Different Frontiers
Temperate Regions The heart of your empire. Fertile islands support the dense cities where workers, operators, engineers, executives and investors live, and their appetite for goods drives nearly every production chain you build. The Arctic A harsh region with its own specialists and industries. Residents here depend on the waste heat of nearby production buildings to stay warm, so every settlement becomes a careful puzzle of warmth, space and output. The Moon The prize at the center of the race. Lunar colonies need shield generators to hold off meteorite strikes, and every patch of protected ground is precious, but this is where helium-3 is mined and shipped home to fuel your cities on Earth.Production Chains Built for Scale
Anno's masterful economic play is the core of the experience, and Anno 2205 gives it more room than ever before.
- Linked sessions: You manage several regions simultaneously, and trade routes move goods between them, so the raw materials pulled from one sector can become the products demanded by citizens in another.
- Modular industry: Farms and factories can be expanded with modules that boost their output, letting you grow production without tearing up a layout you have already tuned to perfection.
- Room to grow: Islands are five times bigger than in earlier Anno games, with space for monumental cities of thousands of buildings and more than a million thriving citizens.
Defending Your Interests
Not every rival competes fairly. Crisis sectors take you away from your cities and into direct confrontation with competing corporations and the Orbital Watch, a terrorist group opposed to your push into space. From an overhead view, you command armed ships, trading missile and bomb fire with enemy structures and vehicles. Keeping combat in its own sectors means your cities stay focused on building, while success on the front line feeds back into your wider operation.
A Future That Feels Alive
Blue Byte built a new engine for Anno 2205, and it shows in the detail. Flying cars thread between towers, factories churn, mines grind into the rock and wildlife moves through the landscape, all animated in response to what you build. Zoom out and you see a sprawling industrial network; zoom in and every district has its own rhythm. Adjustable difficulty levels and the freedom to save anytime let you set the pace, whether you want a relaxed build or a tight economic challenge.
If you have ever lost an evening perfecting a production chain, Anno 2205 hands you the biggest canvas the series had offered up to that point: a whole planet and its Moon. Found your corporation, light the way to fusion power and build the better tomorrow the game promises.
